Remove Duplicate Lines
Delete repeated lines from a list, keeping the first occurrence or only unique lines.
Type or paste a list to remove duplicate lines.

How it works
- Type or paste one item per line. The result appears as you type.
- Choose “Keep first occurrence” to drop repeats, or “Keep only lines that appear once” to drop every line that has a duplicate.
- Optionally ignore case or surrounding spaces when comparing, and remove blank lines.
Counting rules
- Order is preserved, and kept lines are output exactly as typed, including their case and spaces.
- Blank lines count as an ordinary line unless “Remove blank lines” is on; they are then removed and counted in “Removed”.
- A trailing line break at the end of the text is ignored.
- Your text is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.
Worked example: The five lines a, b, a, c, b become 3 lines (a, b, c), removing 2.
