Case Converter

Change text to upper, lower, sentence, title, camel, snake, kebab and other cases.

Your text is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.

How it works

  • Type or paste text, then choose a case from “Convert to”. The result updates as you type.
  • Copy the converted text with the Copy button.
  • Programming cases (camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE) convert each line separately.

Counting rules

  • Title Case keeps these words lowercase unless first or last in a line: a, an, and, as, at, but, by, for, in, nor, of, on, or, the, to, up, vs, via.
  • Sentence case capitalises the first letter of the text, of each sentence and of each new line. A lone “i” is not capitalised.
  • Capitalize Each Word starts a new word after a space, a bracket, a double quote or a hyphen, but not after an apostrophe.
  • Upper and lower case use standard Unicode rules, so “ß” becomes “SS”. Language-specific rules such as the Turkish dotted i are not applied.
  • In programming cases, words are split at spaces and punctuation and where a lowercase letter meets a capital: “XMLHttpRequest” becomes xml_http_request.
  • Your text is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.

Worked example: “the lord of the rings” becomes “The Lord of the Rings” in Title Case and “the_lord_of_the_rings” in snake_case.
